Reflections on teaching ratio and proportion using Lesson Study

Resumen

Lesson Study brinda una oportunidad para que los maestros participen en capas de reflexiones individuales y colaborativas en, sobre y para practicar para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Este artículo informa sobre reflexiones sobre la proporción y proporción de la enseñanza en línea utilizando Lesson Study, que podrían mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, específicamente en pedagogía. El estudio constó de tres etapas principales: planificación de la lección, estudio de la lección propiamente dicho y reflexión a través de la discusión posterior a la lección. En el estudio de la lección de investigación propiamente dicha participaron estudiantes de noveno grado en una escuela de Filipinas y seis profesores: uno impartió la lección y los otros cinco observaron la clase a través de Zoom. Además, los seis profesores participaron en la discusión posterior a la lección. Los datos recopilados en este estudio cualitativo descriptivo fueron analizados mediante análisis temático. Se concluyó que en la enseñanza de la razón y proporción se debe enfatizar la distinción entre terminologías para que no haya confusión y que los estudiantes utilicen lo adecuado.
Además, se recomienda incluir en la lección un problema de la vida real que involucre razones y proporciones para que los estudiantes aprecien sus usos y reduzcan su abstracción. Los profesores también deben ir más allá de las actividades rutinarias para aumentar el pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes y emplear las habilidades de pensamiento de orden superior. Por lo tanto, se recomienda que los docentes se capaciten para aprender diferentes y nuevas pedagogías para mejorar su enseñanza yendo más allá de las actividades rutinarias e incorporando problemas de la vida real.
